Gentle, low-calorie detox drink made with pink Himalayan salt, lemon, and optional boosters.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm (not boiling) filtered water
  • ¼ to ½ teaspoon fine-grain pink Himalayan salt (start with ¼ tsp)
  • Juice of ½ lemon or ½ tsp 100% bottled lemon juice
  • Optional: 1 tsp raw honey
  • Optional: 1 tsp apple cider vinegar (with the mother)
  • Optional: 1–2 fresh ginger slices
  • Optional: 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • Optional: 1 tbsp coconut water or a drizzle of pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Warm the Water: Heat 1 cup of filtered water until warm (not hot).
  2. Add Salt: Stir in ¼ tsp pink Himalayan salt until fully dissolved.
  3. Add Lemon: Squeeze in juice of ½ lemon or use ½ tsp pure bottled lemon juice.
  4. Optional Boosters: Add ginger slices, ACV, cayenne, coconut water, or maple syrup if using.
  5. Mix Well: Stir thoroughly with a mini whisk or spoon.
  6. Drink: Sip slowly within 10 minutes of waking up.
